Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years related experience.
- Minimum of 16 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active U.S. Government TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Professional expertise in generating and managing requirements across various system levels.
- Proficient with DOORS and/or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) software like CAMEO and MagicDraw.
- Significant experience leading extensive space programs throughout the entire system lifecycle.
- Background in Laser/LADAR system design.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of concepts of operation and analyze, decompose, and generate requirements at multiple system levels.
- Oversee requirements traceability and formulate test plans to ensure complete coverage.
- Perform design trades to support key technical decisions.
- Facilitate design reviews including Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR).
- Lead the integration and testing processes for electro-optical/infrared systems and associated hardware/software.
- Conduct and supervise data analysis, modeling, and simulation activities.
- Assess customer and operational needs to define and align system performance requirements while ensuring integration of technical parameters.
- Identify and mitigate program risks effectively.
- Mentor less experienced Systems Engineers to foster their professional growth.
- Engage in proposal activities, program planning, guidance, and execution.
