Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 10 years of related experience. Alternatively, 16 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree. - Active U.S. Government TS/SCI Security Clearance. - Proven experience in generating and managing requirements across various system levels and cascading them to sub-systems/sub-components. - Familiarity with DOORS and/or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO and MagicDraw. - Extensive experience leading large-scale space programs throughout the entire system lifecycle. - Experience with the design of Laser/LADAR systems.

Responsibilities

- Lead the development of operational concepts and analyze requirements, including their decomposition and generation at multiple system levels. - Ensure requirements traceability and create testing plans to validate these requirements. - Conduct design trades to facilitate technical decision-making processes. - Organize and lead design reviews such as Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR). - Oversee the integration and testing of electro-optical/infrared systems along with associated hardware and software. - Support or lead data analysis, modeling, and simulation activities. - Assess customer and operational needs to specify system performance requirements and ensure compatibility of various interfaces. - Identify and mitigate risks associated with the program. - Provide mentorship to junior Systems Engineers. - Contribute to proposal development, program planning, direction, and implementation.
