Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, or a masters degree with 2 years of experience
- In the absence of a degree, at least 8 years of related experience required
- Proficiency with commercial cloud systems (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with languages and technologies: Python, Typescript, Java
- Experience with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB, Postgres, CDK, CloudFormation, Ansible, GIT, Active Directory, Networking, EKS, RDS, Lambda, IAM
- Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Knowledge of NIST standards (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800.53)
- Experience in Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Git)
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain cloud applications
- Provide 24x7 monitoring and troubleshooting for a Cloud data operations system
- Lead first-line anomaly resolution and mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering enhancements and bug fixes
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation related to cloud operations
- Organize and facilitate training sessions for operations staff as necessary
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and regulations
- Work in shifts, including nights and weekends on a rotating schedule
