Requirements
Must:
- Prior experience writing embedded software using C/C++
- Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems
- Experience in developing low-level software, including drivers and Board Support Packages (BSP)
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as Ethernet, RS422, 1553, and SPI
- General understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 4 years of relevant experience; or a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience without a degree
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux development environments
Responsibilities
- Engage in full software development lifecycle activities, such as requirements analysis, design, coding, documentation, and testing of embedded systems
- Collaborate with our team to design and implement software for advanced Space Avionics systems
- Produce high-quality software that meets industry standards and project specifications
- Conduct testing and debugging of software to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Communicate effectively with team members to share insights and address challenges
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute to continuous improvement
