Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or
- Graduate Degree with at least 2 years of related experience, or
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
- 4 years of software design and implementation experience using C/C++ and C#
- 2 years of expertise in embedded software and UI software development on Windows and Linux platforms
- At least 1 year of practical project management experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software using C/C++ and C#
- Execute assigned projects involving software design, documentation, verification, and validation for sonar systems
- Conduct technical reviews and design analyses, including hardware development and selection
- Modify and enhance existing software for operational systems or testing facilities
- Perform analyses for computer hardware and software development or implementation
- Provide independent verification and validation of design concepts
- Develop, test, and document software code and integrate it into higher-level assemblies
- Manage software configuration to ensure code reflects the latest versions
- Implement review procedures to ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards
- Identify and report issues, recommending corrective actions for cost or schedule risks
- Prepare design review materials for technical audits
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Travel up to 25% as required
