Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field and at least 4 years of pertinent experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience
- Alternative: Minimum of 8 years of direct experience in Embedded Software or DSP in lieu of a degree
- Expertise in embedded software development with an emphasis on digital signal processing (DSP)
- Proficiency in C++ and C programming languages
- Familiarity with Linux OS, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and embedded systems design
- Experience in developing efficient software for digital and RF hardware
- Knowledge of multi-threaded, multi-core, and real-time operating systems
- Understanding of the complete software development lifecycle including design, implementation, integration, and testing of large systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and systems engineers
- Capability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Experience with embedded software emulators and debuggers
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, verify, and troubleshoot real-time embedded software and signal processing algorithms
- Develop specialized software for embedded communication systems, focusing on integration and real-time performance
- Collaborate closely with an Agile team on projects related to innovative real-time signal processing solutions
- Stay updated with advancements in DSP technology and integrate new techniques and methodologies into projects
- Contribute to the strategic advancement of DSP solutions while identifying innovation opportunities
- Optimize software for performance amidst power consumption and memory usage constraints
