Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
- Graduate Degree with at least 13 years of relevant experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 19 years of relevant experience
- Active Top Secret security clearance and ability to obtain SCI
- 10 years of experience in developing, managing, and validating requirements for components or systems
- Proficient with requirements management software such as DOORS
- Professional experience in leading large space programs throughout the complete system lifecycle
- Over 5 years of experience with RF space payloads and systems
- Proven ability to lead complex technical teams and programs to achieve hardware delivery
Responsibilities
- Drive and oversee large space programs across all phases of the system lifecycle
- Negotiate technical and non-technical scope with customers
- Engage in critical mission phases and milestone reviews including SDR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PSR, and system operation
- Manage and lead activities such as requirements management, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), interface management, and system design
- Develop and implement risk and opportunity management strategies
- Plan and conduct verification and test activities
- Facilitate team efforts in addressing action items and conducting event-based activities like RCCAs, FRBs, MRBs
- Provide systems engineering expertise and technical leadership across a diverse field of engineering and development for complex systems
- Evaluate customer needs to define and align system performance requirements and ensure compatibility of all interfaces
