Senior Systems Engineer Specialist

Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Alternatively, minimum of 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Proven experience in program planning, guidance, and engineering execution within defined scope, timeline, and budget
- Strong understanding of engineering processes and policies
- Experience in Aircraft Integration, Testing, and Delivery
- Ability to travel as required based on business needs
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required; must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret (SCI) Clearance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools; TeamCenter preferred
- Experience with first article verification testing and managing requirements in tools such as DOORS or JAMA
Responsibilities
- Support the development, integration, testing, and validation of new or modified systems for the Gulfstream G550 platform
- Develop system requirements including Concept of Operations (ConOps), system specifications, and component schematics
- Create and conduct verification and validation efforts by developing test plans and procedures, and physically operating systems for ground and flight testing
- Write certification reports and support technical documentation by providing source data for maintenance manuals
- Engage in travel for Technical Interchange Meetings, Program Reviews, and aircraft field support as needed
- Communicate with internal leadership, subcontractors, and customer teams to influence process improvements
- Contribute to new product and process development while implementing operational plans with measurable impacts
- Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical and mechanical systems in confined spaces
- Prepare bids and write proposals for project initiatives
- Read and interpret technical specifications, engineering plans, and publications
- Assist in understanding and supporting the aircraft certification processes for both civil and military standards
