Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a technical discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Graduate degree with at least 4 years of related experience, or 10 years of prior relevant experience in absence of a degree
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience in project bidding, scheduling, or project engineering
- Preferred: Experience in a telecommunications or networking environment, though not mandatory
- Preferred: Familiarity with Air Traffic Management systems and aviation terminologies
- Preferred: INCOSE certification such as ASEP/CSEP
Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise in Network Communications engineering principles to manage Project Change Orders and create precise project proposals and estimates
- Plan, execute, and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation using tools like Microsoft Project
- Implement changes to program baselines, understanding configuration management processes and utilizing tracking software like Jira
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders through strong verbal and written skills
- Draft clear and detailed technical documentation, including proposals and reports
- Ensure thoroughness and accuracy in all work, adhering to communication network specifications and standards
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure stakeholder alignment and information sharing
- Identify potential project risks associated with changes and cost estimates, proposing mitigation strategies
- Analyze and interpret Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Create and present essential systems engineering documents during program gate reviews
