Senior Systems Engineer, Mission Protection Specialist

- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate threats to space, cyber, and ground systems in support of U.S. government operations - Conduct mission protection assessments to uncover vulnerabilities in space, cyber, and ground architectures - Collaborate with mission planners, operators, and partners to integrate protection strategies across the system lifecycle - Support the creation of mitigation plans and implement countermeasures in alignment with mission assurance priorities - Coordinate with Department of Defense and Intelligence Community stakeholders to synchronize protection efforts with national guidance - Develop and maintain specific program threat models, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and risk management frameworks - Contribute to red/blue team assessments, tabletop exercises, and security reviews for programs - Prepare briefings and supporting documentation on threat assessments and mitigation strategies for senior leadership - Obtain and maintain crew operations certification - Work both independently and collaboratively within classified operations centers to support 24/7 mission requirements when necessary
