Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in an engineering or technical field, or 10 years of equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant prior experience, or 4 years with a graduate degree
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- 3+ years experience in project bidding, scheduling, or project engineering (preferred)
- Experience in a telecommunications or networking environment (highly preferred)
- Familiarity with Air Traffic Management systems and aviation protocols (preferred)
- INCOSE certification (such as ASEP / CSEP) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Utilize a solid understanding of Network Communications engineering principles to manage Project Change Orders, ROMs, and proposals effectively
- Plan and oversee projects ensuring efficient scheduling, budgeting, and resource management through tools like Microsoft Project
- Implement changes to program baselines, utilizing configuration management processes and tracking software such as Jira
- Communicate with stakeholders effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Draft comprehensive technical documents, proposals, and reports
- Ensure all work is precise and compliant with standards for resilient communication networks
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to keep all members aligned and informed
- Identify potential risks related to changes and cost estimates and develop mitigation strategies
- Interpret Statements of Work (SOWs) accurately
- Create and present essential systems engineering documents during program gate reviews
