Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with six (6) years of experience in Electrical, Systems, or Software Engineering
- Graduate Degree with four (4) years of experience in Electrical, Systems, or Software Engineering
- Alternatively, ten (10) years of experience in Electrical, Systems, or Software Engineering without a degree
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret and/or Top-Secret Clearance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external clients
- Willingness to travel as necessary (up to 10%)
- Knowledge of requirements traceability methods and documentation standards
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and integrate technologies for the flight deck across various aircraft platforms
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Flight Line Test, Product Development, and Project Engineering teams to comprehend modifications and functions
- Participate in the hardware/software integration of avionics components, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and resilience in testing
- Develop technical requirements for subsystems with an emphasis on reducing vulnerabilities
- Conduct requirement traceability and write subsystem specifications deriving from system-level requirements
- Engage in hands-on testing, integration, and verification of software and/or hardware
- Maintain documentation of system testing status and any anomalies related to hardware and software
- Work with management to establish and adhere to project schedules and budgets
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
