Senior Systems Engineer - Networking Architect

Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience in Systems Level Design and Integration with relevant technologies
- Familiarity with network design, architecture, and equipment selection
- Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 design, including subnetting and protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- Experience in network device configuration and troubleshooting, particularly with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE and Juniper Junos
- Understanding of technologies such as GRE, IPSEC, DMVPN, IP quality-of-service, VLANs, SD-WAN, and multicast
- Familiar with Windows, Linux, VMware, OpenShift, and container troubleshooting
- Knowledge of tactical/military radio networks like CDL and ANW2
- Understanding of Multi-Level Security (MLS), cross-domain networks, and Federated Mission Networking (FMN)
- Strong technical proposal skills, including scheduling and technical writing expertise
- Proficient in Systems Design and Systems Integration
- Strong grasp of systems engineering principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to convey complex technical ideas to diverse groups
- Capability to work collaboratively in teams and lead cross-functional groups
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the expansion of L3Harriss systems solutions for International C2 and Mission Systems
- Support the development of complex systems, ensuring architectural integrity and consistency
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define system architecture for new and existing products
- Balance technical performance, cost, and schedule while fulfilling customer needs
- Design, integrate, and operate secure military communications networks across multiple domains
- Provide detailed network schematics, hardware selections, and software configurations
- Maintain advanced technical knowledge of IP networks, routing protocols, and networking technologies
- Assist and lead technical discussions with customers on systems solutions
- Develop system architectures for communications modernization and C4ISR systems
- Support integration of L3Harris products with third-party systems
- Assist with the physical integration of Radio products into various platforms
- Prepare documentation, white papers, and presentations for customers
- Collaborate and coordinate with engineering teams
- Be willing to travel internationally for customer meetings and equipment integration
