Senior Systems Engineer - Modeling & Simulation

Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- In lieu of a degree, have a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
- Must possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Two years of experience translating operational requirements into executable simulation architectures.
- Two years of experience using modeling tools such as STK, ODTK, GMAT, FreeFlyer, or Python-based analytical environments.
- Familiarity with Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Mission Protection, or national security space operations is preferred.
- Understanding of threat modeling and contested space environments is a plus.
- Experience in supporting wargaming or operational exercises, particularly with the Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Community (IC) organizations is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-fidelity models and simulations for space missions.
- Conduct orbital mechanics modeling, including orbit propagation, maneuver analysis, and conjunction assessments.
- Create and manage simulation scenarios informed by threats, integrating adversary capabilities and Space Domain Awareness considerations.
- Present technical findings and analytical insights to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support planning and execution of exercises, wargaming, and mission rehearsal simulations as needed.
- Engage in operational planning and system performance analysis to enhance mission effectiveness.
