Senior Specialist, Integration & Test Engineering

Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 4 years of related experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience
- Proficiency in system integration and testing for ground communications
- Ability to acquire and maintain a secret security clearance
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a technical environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with aerospace and defense systems, including space payloads and ground systems
- Familiarity with secure environment protocols (STIGs, IA controls)
- Knowledge of hardware and software requirements, including testability, block diagrams, and integration processes
- Experience with DOORS, CAMEO, and MagicDraw software
- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages such as Java, Python, SQL, and Perl
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Bit Bucket, and Confluence
- Experience utilizing Source Control Tools
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technical staff
- Proven capability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of ground verification plans, test procedures, and document test results to ensure compliance with requirements
- Assist the technical SI&T lead with daily ground hardware and software integration and verification tasks
- Identify, document, and resolve issues effectively
- Analyze test outcomes, identify problems, and track root causes in conjunction with the development team
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary technical team during the requirements analysis phase, ensuring completeness of the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM)
- Assist in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Engage across all product life cycle phases, including design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, verification, and delivery
