Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience
- Graduate Degree plus at least 4 years related experience
- Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years relevant experience without a degree
- Active Collateral Secret security clearance required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD 8140 certification (or NIST 800-181) within 6 months of starting
Responsibilities
- Safeguard critical systems and networks using advanced security engineering methods throughout the system lifecycle
- Identify, define, and implement security requirements in collaboration with customers
- Collaborate with system developers and vendors to design secure systems and networks
- Integrate multiple security methods into a unified security perimeter
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to monitor and maintain security environments
- Prepare Certification and Accreditation documentation in line with NIST 800-37 and related standards
- Advocate for program security needs in customer meetings
- Lead the execution of Anti-Tamper strategies throughout the System Development Lifecycle
- Conduct threat assessments and trade studies related to security solutions
- Support security engineering activities including requirements development and design testing
- Assist in crafting policies and practices for new security technologies
