Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or relevant experience
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, or 4 years with a graduate degree
- In the absence of a degree, at least 10 years of related experience
- Familiarity with embedded security and encryption
- Knowledge of safety-critical software standards such as DO-178 B or higher
- Proficiency in C/C++ for software development
- Experience with test frameworks, ideally using Python
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in a technical context
- Understanding of embedded system design and software/hardware co-design
- Background in avionics lifecycle execution and mission computing systems
Responsibilities
- Engage in the design, development, integration, and testing of embedded computing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and assess hardware-software interfaces
- Develop and evaluate operational performance requirements for the overall system
- Utilize existing tools for software development and testing
- Contribute to mission systems integration architecture
- Possibly travel to St. Louis, MO for customer support meetings in a software leadership capacity
- Support the deployment of customer solutions as needed
