Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of related professional experience
- In lieu of a degree, at least 6 years of applicable experience
- Proficient in Java, C#/.NET, and SQL databases such as Oracle
- Familiarity with JavaScript, JQuery, XML, and web services (REST, SOAP)
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python and Bash
- Strong ability to write well-structured, testable, and efficient code
- Experience in verifying compliance of designs with specifications
- Ability to obtain FAA Public Trust Clearance
Responsibilities
- Engage in the design and development of software systems and applications
- Perform hands-on development using high-level programming languages as required
- Support and deploy enterprise applications in a 24/7 operational environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Conduct requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing of software products
- Enhance existing applications, tools, and services to solve operational challenges
- Mentor team members in writing high-quality code
