Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering with at least 15 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with a minimum of 13 years of experience, or 19 years of related experience without a degree.
- Current TS/SCI security clearance.
- Over 5 years of leadership experience in systems engineering.
- More than 5 years of experience with space-based payload or vehicle systems.
- Proven track record in conducting technical analysis, managing specifications, and producing design review and technical documentation.
- Experience leading product testing, design validation, requirements sell-off, and generating end-item data package efforts.
Responsibilities
- Drive the traceability of requirements and develop test plans to confirm specifications.
- Conduct technical analyses, manage specifications, and create design review and technical documents.
- Perform design trades to assist in technical decision-making.
- Lead design reviews, including Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), and Test Readiness Review (TRR).
- Guide the integration and testing of electro-optical/infrared systems and associated hardware/software.
- Oversee product testing, design verification, requirements sell-off, and generation of end-item data packages.
- Support and lead data analysis, modeling, and simulation efforts.
- Assess space vehicle and customer requirements to define and coordinate system performance needs, integrating technical parameters while ensuring compatibility across all interfaces.
- Identify and mitigate program risks.
- Mentor and develop a growing team of systems engineers.
- Participate in proposal activities.
- Plan, guide, and execute program initiatives.
