Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Extensive knowledge of Electronic Warfare systems, including signals analysis and hardware design approaches.
- Proven expertise in Electronic Warfare system design, specifically threat characterization and RF phenomenology.
- Familiarity with modern signal processing algorithms like adaptive filtering and beamforming.
- Hands-on experience with real-time EW or RF processing architectures on platforms such as FPGAs or GPUs.
- Strong track record in developing or evaluating advanced algorithms for radar, communications, SIGINT, or EW applications.
- Understanding of electronic attack and protection principles.
- Capacity to conduct trade studies and translate mission requirements into system architectures.
- Experience working with government customers or DoD research organizations on advanced RF technology programs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical liaison between L3Harris and customer engineering teams, supporting business development initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders to define and document customers Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and requirements.
- Conduct trade studies and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to architect economical and low-risk solutions.
- Advocate for customer needs within the organization during program reviews and execution phases.
- Develop business cases and manage discretionary resources.
- Coordinate high-level system performance and interface requirements based on operational needs.
- Generate initial CONOPS or Operational Descriptions Document (ODD) and system architecture views.
- Lead solution development to meet customer specifications while managing constraints and budget considerations.
- Conduct competitive assessments to demonstrate the value of new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and documents that address key issues and recommendations for customer-focused projects.
- Direct various analyses to optimize system architecture and inform make/buy decisions.
