Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience. - Graduate degree with a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience. - Alternatively, at least 19 years of prior related experience without a degree. - Proven leadership capabilities to guide teams without formal authority. - Experience in developing and implementing network architectures (both terrestrial and non-terrestrial) and complex mission solutions. - Strong technical business development skills with effective communication (oral and written). - Successful history of generating technical solutions for competitive proposals. - Prior experience leading architecture development initiatives using Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) principles for government programs with Agile methodologies. - Full program life-cycle experience with demonstrated engineering team leadership. - Experience with technical roles in the Department of Defense (DoD), ideally within the USAF or USSF.

Responsibilities

- Provide strategic technical guidance leveraging L3Harris technical expertise to meet both business and customer needs. - Act as the technical liaison between L3Harris and customers engineering teams, supporting business development in creating new opportunities. - Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and document customer mission needs, CONOPS, and requirements. - Conduct trade studies and engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design affordable solutions with manageable risk. - Analyze customer needs, budget constraints, and technical preferences to build trust with stakeholders. - Synthesize and own system architecture from a holistic perspective aligned with mission requirements. - Develop Use Cases and operational documentation to articulate system performance and interfaces. - Generate and evaluate architecture options and support the creation of value chain configurations. - Identify L3Harris capabilities for customer demonstrations and develop relevant demo scenarios. - Lead the development of comprehensive solutions tailored to customer specifications. - Engage SMEs to validate technical viability and refine content. - Assess impacts of adjustments to requirements on mission operations and costs. - Guide decisions on make/buy strategies and supplier selections, including forming strategic partnerships. - Lead and execute trade studies for technical decisions in proposal captures. - Facilitate coordination between customers engineers and internal teams to address technical challenges effectively. - Prepare and deliver technical presentations suited to the audiences level of understanding. - Analyze contractual technical issues and develop recommendations for resolution. - Maintain a comprehensive view of L3Harris technologies and capabilities, leading pursuit activities such as RFI and RFP responses.
