Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree plus a minimum of 15 years of related experience
- Graduate Degree plus a minimum of 13 years of related experience
- Minimum of 19 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- Understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST, FISMA, and FIPS
- Experience in bid and proposal generation for government contracts
- Familiarity with network technologies (LAN & WAN) and best practices
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (workstation & server), Linux, and system virtualization
- Experience with compliance scanning tools (e.g. Nessus) and vulnerability tools (e.g. Splunk)
- Current or previous experience in ISSE/ISSM/ISSO roles
- Knowledge of DoD IS and FAA domain
- Experience designing, implementing, and operating security controls for cloud-hosted applications
- Experience with commercial cloud service providers such as AWS or MS Azure
- Proficiency in applying NIST controls and policies for various cloud architectures
- Certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, or CISM
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Experience in industry committees or cloud security associations
- Background in publishing technical papers on cloud security
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and deploy both cloud-capable and on-premise security platforms
- Oversee information security engineering tasks including CDRL documentation and compliance
- Provide innovative cybersecurity solutions to enhance service performance and marketability
- Guide and ensure documentation and processes comply with government auditing for security architectures
- Evaluate security requirements for proposals and collaborate with business and engineering teams
- Author security responses for technical volumes and assist in research initiatives for business growth
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and adapt security controls effectively
