Senior Information Security Systems Engineer - Palm Bay

Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of Collateral Secret security clearance is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD 8140 certification (or NIST 800-181) within 6 months of starting
- Experience with assessing security and privacy controls in embedded systems using NIST 800-53 (preferred)
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization processes, including steps 1-4
- Experience with A&A package processing (preferred)
- Knowledge in configuration and use of cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools such as ACAS and SCC (preferred)
- NSA Type 1 Certification of cryptographic high assurance devices (preferred)
- Active TS/SCI Clearance is highly desired (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Apply current systems security engineering practices to system architecture, design, development, and integration for enhanced security
- Collaborate closely with customers to clarify their security protection needs throughout the system lifecycle
- Work with systems developers or vendors to design and evaluate secure systems and networks using encryption and vulnerability analysis methods
- Integrate various security methods into a cohesive system security perimeter
- Implement necessary policies and procedures to monitor and sustain the system security environment
- Prepare Certification and Accreditation documentation in line with industry standards
- Advocate for program security requirements during customer meetings
- Lead the implementation of Anti-Tamper (AT) measures throughout the System Development Lifecycle
- Assess systems for Critical Program Information and develop AT requirements and solutions
- Conduct Verification and Validation activities, as well as threat assessments via attack/countermeasure analysis
- Support security engineering tasks such as requirements development, design, testing, and maintenance of information systems
