Requirements
Must:
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience
- In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, UNIX, Solaris, and Cisco
- Familiarity with Windows server systems, system virtualization, and related peripherals
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with vulnerability and compliance tools like Nessus and SCAP
- Extensive knowledge of Configuration Control Board processes and procedures
- Proven experience with Plan of Action and Milestone development, tracking, and completion
- Understanding of baseline configurations and compliance assessments
- IAM Level II Certification (Security +)
- Familiarity with RMF/Assessment and Authorization safeguards compliant with NIST 800 series
- Exposure to Special Access Program environments
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for Department of Defense programs
- Ensure compliance with vulnerability and change management for a complex multi-location network
- Assist in addressing IT and information system security compliance issues impacting customer missions
- Conduct assessment activities for RMF/Assessment and Authorization safeguards per NIST 800-53
- Analyze and evaluate security controls for information systems concerning configuration, change, and vulnerability management
- Oversee compliance with Information Assurance Program through change control processes
- Review, approve, and authorize network and configuration changes as needed
- Document and publish security-related workflows and procedures for vulnerability mitigation
- Participate in Engineering and Configuration Review Boards to develop secure system solutions
- Provide input for RMF package artifacts including System Security Plan and Security Control Traceability Matrix
- Support the creation and tracking of Continuous Monitoring Plans and other RMF documentation
- Maintain the ability to obtain any required additional security clearances
- Be open to up to 5% travel when necessary
