Senior Associate, Info Security Engineer

Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with no prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.
- Minimum of Collateral Secret security clearance is mandatory.
- Capability to obtain and maintain a DOD 8140 certification (or NIST 800-181) within 6 months from the start date.
- Familiarity with the configuration and usage of cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools like ACAS and SCC is preferred.
- Professional experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF), particularly in embedded systems is a plus.
- Knowledge and application of Anti-Tamper (AT) measures throughout the System Development Lifecycle is beneficial.
- Experience in assessing systems for Critical Program Information (CPI) and performing threat analyses is advantageous.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Obtain NSA Type 1 Certification of cryptographic high assurance devices.
- Engage with customers, internal program teams, and leadership to fulfill program requirements.
- Manage DoD software selection and approval processes for Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS), and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS).
- Assist with security engineering tasks, including requirement gathering, design, testing, and information systems maintenance.
- Evaluate and implement security architecture improvements and respond to vulnerabilities and obsolescence issues.
- Interact with stakeholders to assess security and privacy controls in embedded systems utilizing NIST 800-53.
- Employ Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization processes steps (1-4) including evidence package development.
- Process A&A packages and facilitate RMF accreditation for Platform IT (PIT) systems.
- Support program security in crafting policies and procedures for emerging security technologies.
