Senior Associate, Cloud Security Engineer

Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong experience with AWS security
- Proficiency in VPC architecture and encryption techniques
- 4+ years of experience in network and platform security
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Scripting and automation expertise (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of secure architecture principles and Zero Trust models
- Experience with compliance in regulated environments (e.g., Government, Financial Services)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Contribute to Security Systems Engineering for secure network and cloud architectures
- Design and secure AWS cloud and hybrid frameworks per Zero Trust principles
- Integrate security within Agile methodologies by setting cybersecurity requirements
- Automate security controls in DevSecOps pipelines with Infrastructure-as-Code
- Implement cloud-native monitoring and detection capabilities
- Support compliance initiatives through secure baseline management
- Collaborate with engineering teams to uphold security controls
- Support incident response and automated remediation processes
