Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 4 years in developing embedded software-based engineering solutions
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferable
- In lieu of a degree, at least 8 years of relevant experience
- Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong experience in security requirements analysis and specification creation
- Familiarity with emerging security standards and evolution of NSA certification processes
- Solid understanding of DoD Configuration Management processes and managing Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Preference for experience in radio communications or networking
- Knowledgeable about configuration management tools
Responsibilities
- Engage in Information Assurance (IA) related architecture development and CONOPS formulation
- Conduct trade studies and requirements analysis, ensuring proper flow down to hardware/software configurations
- Validate and verify requirements for security compliance, including NSA and DoD standards
- Prepare and manage NSA security certification documentation, including System Evaluation Documents and test plans
- Allocate and analyze system security requirements per NIST FIPS standards
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure compliance with security specifications
- Exhibit self-motivation and capability to operate with minimal supervision in diverse environments
- Plan, execute, and monitor personal task assignments effectively
