- Gather, compose, and refine technical information for documentation such as flight and maintenance manuals. - Communicate with various stakeholders to clarify and interpret operational procedures. - Collaborate with engineers and designers to collect technical specifications and requirements. - Compile and organize researched technical information for documentation development. - Create content for illustrated parts catalogs, maintenance manuals, and other documentation using authoring software like FrameMaker. - Simplify intricate technical concepts into accessible documentation for end-users. - Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards and relevant DoD and FAA regulations. - Coordinate closely with management to monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables. - Potentially manage projects or processes with little supervision. - Propose improvements to systems and processes to enhance efficiency. - Strive to meet operational targets impacting departmental outcomes. - Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, FrameMaker, and Microsoft Office. - Maintain strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. - Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output. - Exhibit excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Show initiative and a proactive approach to work, with the ability to operate independently. - Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
