Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience, or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- Security+ certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Cameo Systems Modeler or other similar Model-Based Systems Engineering tools.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and familiarity with markup languages.
- Demonstrated professional experience with microservice architecture in software systems.
- Experience as a Product Owner, Contractor Account Manager, or Integrated Product Team Lead.
- Skilled in breaking down complex requirements into detailed specifications.
- Familiar with Agile development methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Proficient in Linux and Windows systems.
- Experience with test procedure usage and verification processes.
- Knowledge of automating software GUIs and experience with Eggplant or similar automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead an interdisciplinary team in space mission engineering, covering mission design, analysis, and operations.
- Support the entire product/program lifecycle, including advanced R&D, proposals, design, integration, verification, and sustainment.
- Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods to develop and manage system models using Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Design and implement software solutions for space mission engineering.
- Breakdown high-level requirements into actionable and detailed specifications.
- Engage in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain documentation, such as system architecture diagrams and test plans.
- Ensure verification and validation of system requirements through thorough testing and analysis.
- Train operators on the use of systems and assist in customer testing.
- Debug user interfaces using representative operational data.
- Be prepared to obtain NOAA Public Trust clearance.
