Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related scientific field with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, a minimum of 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active Secret security clearance is required.
- Experience in electro-optical design, electronics, sensors, and imaging systems.
- Familiarity with system integration processes and best practices in the space environment.
- Proficiency in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and traditional engineering tools such as DOORs, JAMA, and SysML.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage system tasks to ensure timely and effective project completion.
- Balance competing priorities while meeting program demands and objectives.
- Contribute to and present in Program Management Reviews (QPMR/PMR/MOR) to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure success.
- Maintain and oversee the Risk Register for ongoing projects.
- Manage Level 1 requirements sell-off and develop End Item Data Packages (EIDP).
- Provide feedback and quality assurance on Level 2 and Level 3 specifications and drawings.
- Conduct training and mentoring sessions for team members to promote skill development.
