Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Systems or Software Engineering with nine (9) years of relevant experience
- Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of Electrical, Systems or Software Engineering experience
- Minimum of 13 years of applicable Electrical, Systems or Software Engineering experience in lieu of a degree
- Active Secret clearance at the time of hire
- U.S. citizenship required
- Additional preferred skills: Active Top-Secret Clearance, Aircraft avionics experience, DOORS/Jira experience
- Understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering
- Experience in FAA Compliance and Certification
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and integrate technologies related to precise location and timing, such as GPS/GNSS and inertial navigation systems
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Flight Line Test, Product Development, and Project Engineering teams to understand new modifications and baseline functionality
- Lead hardware/software integration of PNT components, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and resilience through testing
- Develop technical requirements for subsystems, focusing on minimizing vulnerabilities in GNSS-denied environments
- Analyze GNSS receiver performance and evaluate inertial navigation sensors
- Perform requirement traceability and develop trade studies for completeness and accuracy
- Draft subsystem specifications based on system-level requirements
- Engage in hands-on testing, integration, and verification of software and/or hardware
- Follow existing standards for documenting system testing status and any anomalies in hardware and software
- Work with management to develop and adhere to project schedules and budgets
