Lead Systems Engineer - Waco

- Lead the development of aircraft system requirements, including operational concepts, system and component specifications, and schematics. - Execute verification and validation processes, including creating test plans and procedures, and conducting ground and flight testing while documenting certification reports. - Contribute to technical documentation by supplying source data and reviewing publications, such as operation and maintenance manuals. - Attend Technical Interchange Meetings, Program Reviews, and Aircraft Field Support as required. - Leverage experience in encrypted communications, flight deck missionization, EMCON, and PNT in system design. - Showcase proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). - Engage in hands-on testing and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical and mechanical systems, often in tight spaces. - Familiarize with and support the aircraft certification processes applicable to civil and military standards. - Interpret technical documentation including system schematics and mechanical/electrical drawings. - Prepare bids and draft proposals as necessary. - Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate process changes and improvements. - Maintain high-quality technical writing skills to document specifications, procedures, and reports. - Be prepared to travel up to 10% of the time.
