Lead Systems Engineer - Space Systems, MBSE

Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with at least 9 years of relevant experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of pertinent experience, or 13 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Over 5 years of experience using MBSE tools such as MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect
- Proven experience in a systems engineering role related to space systems
- Demonstrated leadership in managing intricate technical projects and teams focusing on space systems
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of concept of operations and perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and generation at various system levels, especially for space systems
- Create and execute MBSE methodologies and frameworks to support engineering projects with an emphasis on space systems
- Carry out systems modeling and simulation to assess system performance and validate requirements for space systems
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the effectiveness and integration of MBSE practices within space systems projects
- Provide leadership and technical advice on the application of MBSE across the organization, particularly in space systems
- Train and mentor engineering personnel on MBSE tools and best practices, focusing on space systems experience
- Obtain a US Government TS/SCI Security Clearance as required
