Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience
- In lieu of a degree, at least 13 years of related experience is acceptable
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required, must be a U.S. Citizen
- Proven experience in program planning, guidance, and engineering execution within scope, schedule, and budget
- Solid understanding of engineering processes and policies
- Experience in Aircraft Integration, Test, and Delivery
- Willingness to travel as necessary according to business needs
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, TeamCenter preferred
- Experience in first article verification testing
- Experience managing requirements using tools like DOORS or JAMA
- Background in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, with preference for CSM
- Ability to collaborate with subcontractors and U.S. Government clients
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with FAA (STC) and Military (MTC) certification processes
Responsibilities
- Lead the SEIT Integrated Product Team (IPT) to create technical solutions for military and commercial aerospace programs
- Convert customer requirements into clear, verifiable system-level specifications
- Oversee the Requirement Database utilizing DOORS and CAMEO Systems Modeler
- Establish requirement traceability methods
- Conduct systems engineering trade studies and evaluate their results for precision and robustness
- Draft subsystem specifications aligned with system-level requirements
- Assess alternative solutions and shape the system design accordingly
- Approve the technical data packages, ensuring design details correlate with system requirements
- Formulate and write precise verification test procedures to confirm system performance
- Prepare and present technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Travel OCONUS as needed, up to 10% of the time
