Requirements

Must:
- I have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of related experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience. If I do not hold a degree, I have at least 13 years of related experience. - I possess the DoD 8570.01-M IASAE Level 3 certification (e.g., CISSP, ISSEP, ISSAP). - I maintain an active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

- I work with systems developers and commercial product vendors to design and evaluate state-of-the-art secure systems, networks, and database products. - I utilize methods such as encryption technology, vulnerability analysis, and security management. - I am responsible for integrating multiple methods into a cohesive system security perimeter and environment, creating the necessary policies and procedures to monitor and maintain such an environment. - I prepare Assessment and Authorization documentation using multiple standards under RMF and other processes to achieve security authorization of supported systems. - I represent program security needs, concerns, and requirements at customer meetings. - I lead and contribute to all Product or Network Information Security Engineering activities concerning CDRLs, trade studies, security requirements analysis, secure architecture development, and compliance with security controls, including design review milestones and security test/verification activities. - I perform system CONOP analysis and development, as well as functional analysis, timeline analysis, and other studies to translate customer Information Security requirements into hardware and software specifications. - I provide Cyber technical leadership for development teams creating new multi-discipline products and during internal and external gate reviews. - I identify security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications, and new technology initiatives. - I ensure RMF Information Security requirements and Program Protection requirements are addressed in all phases of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC). - I conduct security architecture analysis to evaluate and mitigate risks.

Description


- I have at least 7 years of experience in vulnerability research and analysis of computer hardware, appliances, and/or embedded systems. - My experience includes at least 7 years with Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization processes, covering RMF steps 1-4 and standard body of evidence package development. - I have 2 years of experience in writing and managing RMF body of evidence documents and at least 2 years in system testing and evaluation methods. - I possess 10 years of experience with IC and DoD Cyber organizations and 5 years with DCO and OCO Cyber Effects Operations. - I have led technical teams, decomposed requirements, and managed solution development and testing across portfolios for at least 5 years. - My expertise includes 5 years of experience with computer hardware architecture, components, and protocols, and 3 years with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) standards. - I am familiar with validating the NSA Crypto Modernization and have developed security overlays and interface control documents from customer requirements. - I have experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS), Microsoft systems, cyber defense tools, and architectures integrating VLANs and secure configurations. - Additionally, I possess knowledge of common threats to information systems, exposure to model-based systems engineering tools, and a background in non-traditional national security missions.
