Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or 2 years with a graduate degree
- In lieu of a degree, at least 8 years of pertinent experience
- Active DOD Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Practical knowledge of job area and experience with SIGINT/COMINT systems
- Familiarity with industry-standard testing equipment and COTS hardware
- Proficiency in Windows-based programs and COTS software applications
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility regarding work schedules and maintenance of FAA Class III flight physical duties
Responsibilities
- Conduct subsystem pre-operational checks per engineering documentation
- Configure and prepare LRUs and subsystem components for operation
- Execute subsystem and system-level Ground Test Plans
- Perform insertion loss testing of RF harness assemblies
- Troubleshoot systems and subsystems to the component level
- Identify and rectify subsystem LRU failures through repair, replacement, and retesting
- Recognize hardware, software, and firmware anomalies and suggest corrective actions
- Support EMI/Tempest testing of airborne subsystems
- Participate in software and hardware development integration activities
- Conduct aircraft pre-flight activities for system readiness
- Utilize various test equipment for subsystem and system-level troubleshooting
- Prepare and review engineering documentation
- Provide advice on design changes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Engage in technical discussions with functional organizations and customers
