Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Understanding of technical concepts relevant to spacecraft design including physics, electrical principles, electronics, computers, and mathematics
- Existing cybersecurity certification meeting IA SAE Level I (e.g., CASP CE, CISSP or Associate, CSSLP)
- Current USG Secret or TS/SCI security clearance
- Experience in an engineering or related technical field
- Software development expertise
- Familiarity with network architecture and diagramming
- Skills in technical document creation
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash/Shell, Python, Perl, PowerShell
- Background in robotics
- Experience with cloud computing technologies
- Engagement in vehicle design
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to identify and implement security requirements and address concerns
- Work alongside systems developers and commercial vendors to design and assess secure systems, networks, and database products using encryption technologies, vulnerability analysis, and security management
- Integrate various methods into a unified system security framework
- Establish and enact policies and procedures to oversee security environments
- Prepare Certification and Accreditation documentation based on industry standards such as NIST 800-37 for security authorization
- Advocate for program security needs during client meetings
- Identify, analyze, document, and address cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities for space vehicles and ground systems
- Present cybersecurity analysis, status updates, and plans to both internal stakeholders and external customers
- Generate, review, and enhance technical documentation
- Ability to obtain and maintain a USG Secret security clearance
- Obtain and sustain a DOD 8140 certification (or NIST 800-181), applicable to the position (IA SAE Level I) within 6 months of hiring
