Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of related experience without a degree.
- Active TOP Secret/SCI security clearance.
- DoD 8140.03 IASAE Level 2 certification.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks and security assessments.
- Strong understanding of secure system design methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Implement current systems security engineering practices for system architecture, design, development, evaluation, and integration.
- Collaborate with government customers to identify and address security protection needs and requirements.
- Engage with systems developers and vendors in evaluating and designing secure systems and networks.
- Conduct security assessments and maintain system security frameworks.
- Prepare Certification and Accreditation documentation under relevant standards (RMF, DOD 8510, etc.).
- Document inheritance of security controls relating to IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Support software selection processes for commercial and governmental products.
- Apply and verify compliance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Contribute to security engineering tasks including requirements development, design, and maintenance of information systems.
- Assist in developing policies for emerging security technologies.
- Participate in vulnerability assessment activities as needed.
- Evaluate and support projects aimed at enhancing security architecture and managing vulnerabilities.
