Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 4 years of relevant experience; OR a Graduate Degree with 2 years of relevant experience; OR 8 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
- Professional experience in the integration and testing of embedded systems (software/hardware).
- A minimum of 2 years working with C/C++, Python, Linux, and RTOS.
- Proven hands-on experience with Hardware in the Loop (HIL) and Software in the Loop (SIL) methodologies.
- Experience in an Agile software development environment.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with high-performing teams to build embedded software and Electromechanical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) solutions.
- Provide technical leadership by refining requirements, creating user stories, and promoting collaborative designs in an Agile framework.
- Develop and integrate software for aerospace subsystems utilizing HIL/SIL environments.
- Architect and implement automated infrastructure for space payloads.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and reports, ensuring full traceability.
- Configure and document multi-device hardware/software systems under test.
- Work directly with flight hardware, EGSE, and imaging technologies.
- Utilize various tools including COSMOS, Ruby, LabVIEW, TestStand, MATLAB, Simulink, and DevOps platforms such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Confluence.
