Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related scientific field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree with at least 2 years of applicable experience.
- In absence of a degree, minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in systems engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with space systems and/or sensor systems technology design, manufacturing, integration, and testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Matlab.
- Background in EO/IR or imaging systems design is preferred.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with ground telemetry, commanding software, and mission scheduling software is valued.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a focus on cross-functional teamwork.
- Methodical approach to procedural and program documentation.
- Capacity to collaborate across various levels of leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide mission operations support for existing L3Harris products.
- Assist in developing and validating mission concepts of operations (CONOPs) while ensuring the successful execution of current CONOPs.
- Collaborate with L3Harris off-site factory personnel as well as on-site customers in a fast-paced, multi-company environment.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and addressing any anomalies.
- Apply advanced engineering standards and principles to solve intricate challenges related to spaceflight hardware.
- Communicate technical issues, risks, and updates consistently with L3Harris products to team members and clients.
- Engage in on-call duties and occasionally work surge or shift hours as required.
