Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field with at least 4 years of substantial experience in cloud software development - Graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree - 2 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Software Developer - Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python - Experience in architecting, building, and deploying microservices in Kubernetes environments like EKS or OpenShift - Knowledge of microservice patterns within cloud frameworks focusing on container workloads, databases, and object storage - 1 year of Java software development experience, including use of web services and application servers, alongside JavaScript skills, particularly in NodeJS or ReactJS - Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases through application development - Practical experience with cloud services for application deployment, including CLI commands and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies - Understanding of DevOps tools and practices, including Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines - AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or equivalent certification from other cloud platforms - Scripting proficiency in languages such as Python and Bash - Capability to produce clean, testable, and effective code while mentoring the team accordingly

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and integrate cloud software applications within an Agile framework - Create cloud-based applications and configure deployment environments for seamless integration between cloud and non-cloud components - Implement solutions that fulfill program requirements and align with the businesss vision and roadmap for cloud technologies - Employ DevOps practices to enhance automated build, testing, and deployment environments - Deliver operational support for applications and tools to ensure high availability and adherence to SLAs
