Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Graduate Degree with at least 2 years of applicable experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience
- 4+ years of experience in network and platform security
- Familiarity with VPC architecture and encryption methods
- Experience in securing containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Proven knowledge of secure architecture principles and Zero Trust models
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP)
- Expertise in threat modeling and risk analysis
- Experience in regulated sectors (Government, Financial Services, Healthcare)
Responsibilities
- Support engineering activities by designing, integrating, and implementing secure network and cloud architectures
- Design and safeguard AWS cloud and hybrid systems, including IAM and VPC networking
- Incorporate security measures into Agile development and SDLC by defining cybersecurity requirements
- Automate security protocols within DevSecOps pipelines utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Manage cloud-native logging, monitoring, and detection capabilities for incident response
- Assist in compliance and risk management efforts aligned with NIST and ISO standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate security measures and maintain documentation
- Ensure the ability to obtain FAA Public Trust Clearance
