Requirements
Must:
- 2 - 5 years of engineering experience
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Familiarity with contemporary IT infrastructure capabilities, including virtualization, cloud deployment, and containerization
- Working knowledge of space systems, particularly satellite ground systems
- Experience with military space operations
- Proven track record generating Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for a system
- Demonstrated ownership, urgency, and a results-driven mindset
- Current Secret clearance, with the capability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
Responsibilities
- Assist the System Engineering team to ensure that all engineering contractual requirements and deliverables are fulfilled
- Support program Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and System Engineering Integrated Product Teams (SEIPTs)
- Engage in the generation and delivery of Customer Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs) based on prescribed schedules
- Conduct requirements analysis
- Support and produce Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- Develop system design and architecture
- Update system documentation
- Act as Product Owner for assigned subsystems
- Collaborate closely with system developers, testers, and on-site user support personnel to facilitate system updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure project milestones are achieved
- Offer technical counsel to our customers regarding architectures and feasible solutions
- Create and present effective customer presentations, supporting design reviews, status reports, kickoff meetings, and test plans while demonstrating the ability to communicate at a system level
- Participate in and support highly technical engineering team meetings
- Travel as needed to attend conferences and customer meetings
