Requirements
Must:
- Solid comprehension of cellular architecture (5G or 4G LTE), including RAN, air interface (5GNR/LTE), and 3GPP standards
- Practical experience in wireless systems testing, particularly performance, interoperability, and protocol testing
- Expertise with testing tools such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, UE simulators, and protocol analyzers
- Experience in automated testing frameworks and proficiency in Python scripting
- Team management skills to prioritize and coordinate diverse projects
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related domain
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed testing strategies for 5G functionalities throughout RAN, core, and end-to-end system dynamics
- Establish test plans, acceptance criteria, and coverage objectives consistent with product specifications
- Identify necessary testing tools, frameworks, and laboratory infrastructure
- Coordinate testing efforts with internal teams and external collaborators
- Lead functional, performance, interoperability, and regression testing processes
- Conduct root-cause investigations and partner with development teams to resolve defects
- Ensure compliance with 3GPP standards
- Supervise test engineers and guarantee consistent testing execution
- Collaborate with software, systems, and engineering teams, as well as external vendors, to discover testing gaps
- Assist in integration initiatives across various product lines
- Provide technical expertise to embed testability in the initial design phases
- Work in conjunction with globally distributed teams across varying time zones
- Design and deploy automated testing suites for functional and regression assessments
- Incorporate test automation into existing CI/CD processes
- Engage in Agile ceremonies and present test outcomes
