Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computing Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field, or 15 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in C or C++ programming.
- Proven knowledge of Object-Oriented programming principles and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle and ability to document software requirements clearly.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware-in-the-loop simulation modeling and updating firmware.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test C++ flight software, including hardware, sensor, and actuator integrations.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines to analyze and decompose system requirements.
- Create software requirements specifications, software test descriptions, design documentation, and test reports.
- Design, implement, test, and document software according to KUAS specifications.
- Work on-site in Roseville, CA Tuesday through Thursday (full remote option available for highly qualified candidates).
