Requirements
Must:
- BS Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Three to five years of experience in nondestructive evaluation of materials
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance at Department of Defense (DOD) SECRET level
- Strong aptitude in logic and mathematics relevant to troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Demonstrated technical leadership capabilities
- Quick learner in a dynamic, highly technical environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS degree in Engineering or a related field
- Over five years of experience in nondestructive methods with a strong focus on solutions requiring multiple disciplines
- Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, LabView, or other languages
- Experience in nondestructive evaluation of composite materials
- Familiarity with a wide range of materials, including carbon composites, multi-material structures, bonded structures, and metallics
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (mechanical, electrical, software engineering) to effectively fulfill customer requirements
- Execute application development tasks utilizing advanced ultrasonic spectroscopy techniques
- Innovatively apply engineering concepts, theories, and practices
- Keep updated with developments in the nondestructive evaluation field through literature and technological advancements
- Assess the strengths and weaknesses of various nondestructive methods for specific applications
- Analyze and interpret signals and waveforms
- Design and implement advanced analysis algorithms for the interpretation of nondestructive inspection techniques
- Communicate findings clearly with internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
- Reduce test data and convey relevant information to customers
- Prepare presentations, proposals, reports, and specifications
- Translate nondestructive concepts for colleagues with varying levels of technical expertise
- Assist in marketing and project development initiatives
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the supervisor

In this role, you will work within a collaborative team to deliver innovative nondestructive engineering solutions for diverse programs.
