Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Software, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
- Minimum of 11 years of experience in Integration and Test engineering, covering full program life cycle from proposal to completion.
- Experience managing large program cost accounts.
- Proven leadership capabilities as a senior lead engineer in the aerospace industry for at least 6 years (preferred).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality according to government standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for engaging with all levels of personnel.
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to travel as needed for job functions.
- Potential requirement to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. citizenship necessary).
Responsibilities
- Lead integration and test engineering projects, especially those of significant complexity involving multiple systems and frequent customer interaction.
- Create and manage detailed engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
- Prepare and deliver design review materials for technical interchange with suppliers and customers.
- Develop and execute project plans with meticulous attention to detail.
- Provide technical direction and oversight for Integration and Test Engineers.
- Ensure thorough collaboration with disciplines like Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Aero/Flight to fulfill requirements during system integration.
- Oversee project budgets and schedules, reporting on status and progress regularly.
- Mentor junior Integration and Test Engineers to foster growth in skills and responsibilities.
- Assist in business development through proposal creation and sales activities.
- Monitor and manage customer satisfaction in relation to projects.
