Chief Systems Engineer - Technical Leadership

- Establishing and enforcing stringent guidelines for systems engineering practices - Creating tools or spearheading the integration of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools for engineering efficiency - Documenting and outlining our methodologies for resolving systems engineering challenges - Designing and implementing appropriate training for the systems engineering team - Analyzing and breaking down customer and stakeholder requirements, deriving and allocating them to system and subsystem components - Developing architectural frameworks for both new and existing systems - Conducting trade studies and investigating engineering concepts to identify optimal system architecture - Generating system and subsystem interface definitions along with design documentation - Reviewing testing plans and outcomes - Collaborating with other Chief Engineers to ensure high-quality and uniform engineering services across all client engagements - Performing peer evaluations of colleagues work - Aiding in the development of proposals and presentation materials - Supporting the 5-D Business Lead in establishing and pursuing both short- and long-term business objectives within the systems engineering realm - Traveling to client or internal locations as necessary (expectation of over 25% travel at times)
