Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to secure DOD/IC Security Clearance
- A Masters degree or Ph.D. (or equivalent experience) in electrical engineering, physics, or computer science/engineering
- Experience working with government and non-government clients
- Proficiency in modeling and simulating both analog and digital architectures
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience with electronic testing and instrumentation including oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, and data acquisition
- Over 5 years of ASIC development experience
- At least 2 years of design implementation and verification using Verilog/VHDL
- More than 5 years of experience with FPGAs, familiar with Verilog/VHDL
- Over 5 years of experience in testing ASIC designs
- Willingness to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in the design and evaluation of custom integrated circuits for defense applications
- Explore, research, and implement cutting-edge tools and methodologies for ASIC designs
- Maintain connections with ASIC fabrication sites
- Lead proposal and whitepaper writing initiatives
- Execute program and project management tasks including task management and reporting
- Organize and conduct research and development efforts across multiple, interconnected projects
- Guide and mentor electrical and computer engineers through knowledge transfer on technical methodologies and best practices
- Supervise data collection activities and acceptance testing of on-chip technologies
- Create use cases and analyze technology trade-offs with recommendations for product pipelines
- Oversee workflow and version control of block diagrams, schematics, and code
- Direct design, integration, and testing initiatives through both hands-on and delegated approaches
- Stay updated with technical knowledge by participating in conferences and engaging with professional communities
