Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with at least six (6) years of experience in a related field
- Masters degree with a minimum of three (3) years of experience preferred
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Capability to obtain CompTIA Security+ Certification
- Preferred ServiceNow certifications
- Ability to secure and maintain a DoD Security Clearance (Active Secret preferred)
- Previous experience in ServiceNow UI development is favorable
- Proficiency in client-side scripting languages such as JavaScript
- Skill in translating verbal or written conceptual requirements into functional design specifications
- Strong analytical abilities, capable of articulating complex processes in general terms
- Familiarity with workflow configuration tools like SharePoint, SAP, Microsoft CRM, etc.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with end users to collect requirements and troubleshoot issues
Responsibilities
- Engage in application development and maintenance within a collaborative team focusing on ServiceNow
- Participate in gathering requirements, conducting technical design discussions, and reviewing/testing software
- Implement updates and version upgrades to the existing ServiceNow environment
- Manage roles and permissions for specific content/modules within the ServiceNow platform
- Execute administrative functions for ServiceNow as necessary, providing timely Tier II/III support for applications and workflows
- Ensure that applications adhere to software development and security best practices, particularly in a DOD context
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug the ServiceNow platform
- Assess user needs and analyze system capabilities to address program requirements
- Prepare operational instructions for software use
- Ensure compliance with software standards
- Develop solutions for routine technical issues of limited scope
